Gérard MARTIN

Gerard Martin is currently the Research Development and Innovation Executive at South Africa Wine, where he is responsible for ensuring that the South African Wine Industry recognises and utilises science and technology as foundation stones for success in their businesses.

Gerard has been working in the wine RDI environment for 20 years. He is passionate about innovation, the co-creation of value-adding research projects, and the development of people and knowledge that benefits the entire agricultural ecosystem. His collaborative approach has fostered strategic partnerships that drive innovation and competitive advantages within the sector.
