Hervé HANNIN

Hervé HANNIN is an agronomist engineer with a PhD in agro-economics, an OIV MSc in Wine Management, and a Master of Science degree.

Based in Montpellier, he works as director of the Chair of Companies “Vigne et Vin” and of the Vine and Wine Hub at L’Institut Agro. He is an expert for the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV), Vice-President of the International University Wine Association, and a board member of the French Institute of Vine and Wine as well as the regional cluster Vinseo. He is also a member of the Languedoc-Roussillon Basin Council and chairs the Scientific Council of the Centre du Rosé.

He teaches strategic foresight and marketing at L’Institut Agro, the University of Montpellier, and Montpellier Business School. As a researcher at UMR MoISA, he conducts interdisciplinary research on the wine sector, focusing on its major transitions, market globalization, climate change, and alternatives to pesticides.
